Just can’t get enough of the Grand Canyon. A lot of people claim that it’s overrated, and ya know… they are wrong. :P Sure it can be crowded and touristy, but there’s a reason for that. Because it’s AMAZING. Especially for people who didn’t grow up near a lot of natural beauty (like myself). And it doesn’t take a lot of research and exploring to find less touristy spots. And even so… don’t complain about tourists when you are one. Just sayin. 👀
ANYWAY. Marissa and Stephen! Two adorable humans from the Bay Area who came down to the Grand Canyon for a quick winter vacation. I’m afraid they thought it might be warmer at the Grand Canyon, but thankfully I was able to warn them before their trip that it would NOT be very warm at all. It does, in fact, get pretty cold at 7000 feet in winter. 😉 Doesn’t matter, though!! We still had a lot of fun frolicking around the South Rim and enjoyed a pretty stunning sunset. I love the way the canyon turns purple and pink in the sunset. 😍
