Ummm can you say GORGEOUS?! I don’t think I’ll ever get over Canyon Lake. I’ve always been a lake person (pools are too manufactured and chemically, oceans are too salty and terrifying, but lakes are perfect), so to see and swim in such a beautiful lake really filled my cup. I’ve never seen anything like it. Coming from the Midwest, we have no shortage of lakes, but none of them are in desert canyons, just sayin’. Also, the water was absolutely perfect, even as the sun went down. Lake Michigan has got some competition for my heart…
Canyon Lake is in the Tonto National Forest to the East of Phoenix. Kelley and Nathon drove in from the city to meet me there and take some super cute (and steamyyy) photos. They even brought their amazing pup, Mabel, along for a few shots. Needless to say, it went well. Kelley and Nathon had no problem being aaaall over each other and, as my favorites always are, they were goofy and fun as well. These two are another Tinder success story and have been together for over 2 years now! Kelley is a fellow photographer and took some amazing pics of me as well (can’t wait to be AZ photog buds once I move!) and Nathon is a swim coach, sooo guess I found the right couple to frolic around in the water, eh?!
